Congratulations to the class of 2025! To commemorate this milestone, we are celebrating the achievements of students from each graduating school in our CPSD Graduate Profiles.

Lakes High School graduate Branasia Chinn is headed to Louisiana State University to study political science. Excited about the road ahead, she shared, “Many people say college is the best four years of your life. I know there will be challenges, but what does it matter if I’m having fun?”

Through her time in CPSD, Branasia developed valuable communication and conflict resolution skills. Participating in a range of activities helped her become more adaptable and skilled at working with different people and perspectives.

Branasia made her mark at Lakes as JROTC battalion commander, NHS president and dance team captain. Her involvement also extended to Fellowship of Christian Athletes, softball, Key Club, band and orchestra.

A standout memory for Branasia was traveling to Ft. Knox, Kentucky, for the US Army Raider Nationals Challenge, where her team placed fifth in the 5 km terrain run. One of her proudest achievements was leading the dance team to victory in the WIAA Dance & Drill 3A Hip Hop state championship. “After four years of dreaming about replacing the 2019 champions on my coach’s iPad screen, we finally made it happen,” she said.

Way to go Branasia! Congratulations Lancers!
