Principal Message

Lakes Principal Ray Kurtz

Welcome to Lakes High School!

I am Ray Kurtz, the proud principal of Lakes.

We have had a great 2023-24 school year. We are thrilled to announce that for the second consecutive year, Lakes High School has been named one of the Best High Schools in America by US News and World Report. This incredible achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and community. We are especially proud of our students' individual accomplishments, including our first US Presidential Scholar, two appointments to West Point, and 47 graduates who were named Honor Grads. Together, we continue to strive for excellence and celebrate the successes of our Lancer family. Go Lancers!
